Gender Affirmation Project
The Trans-ilience Research Lab is proud to partner with Allen Neighborhood Center and the MSU Triangle Bar Association to present the Gender Affirmation Project, a program that provides financial and practical assistance to transgender and nonbinary folks in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton Counties seeking to update their legal name and/or gender marker.
Kalei Glozier (he/him) is a graduate student in Clinical Science at Michigan State University. He earned his Master’s degree in clinical science in 2022 from MSU. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2019 with a BA in Psychology, Sociology, and Women's Studies. Kalei's research interests include sexual behavior, drug and alcohol use, and protective/resilience factors in the trans and gender diverse community. Kalei identifies as a queer person of color, specifically a gay, native Hawaiian man. In his free time, Kalei enjoys playing video games, drinking an excess of cold brew, and exploring new cities.
