Noelle

Noelle Martin (they/them) is a graduate student in the Eco-Community Psychology program at MSU. They studied both psychology and neuroscience for their Bachelor’s degree at Tulane University. As an undergrad and after graduation as a research coordinator, Noelle researched the long-term health impacts of early adversity and the impacts of youth participatory action research in the New Orleans community. They are interested in researching how resilience and stress factors of trans and gender diverse youth impact their well-being, how an intersectional lens impacts research methodologies, and interactions between LGBTQ+ populations and the healthcare system. Outside of graduate studies, Noelle enjoys going for very long walks, hanging with their cat, listening to audiobooks, and baking/cooking with loved ones.
